The patented water recycling system from German Wiedemann, one of world's largest producers, utilizes a physical system without filter to avoid clogging up, and with a capacity of 1,200 ltr./min. (3x maximal performance of the high pressure pump).
Patented double clutch system for the high pressure pump ensures a more economical og ecological operation.
Two-tank system with separate water and sludge tanks. U-shaped water tank in stainless steel with a capacity between 5,000 ltr. and 7,000 ltr. Cylindrical sludgetank in stainless steel from 6,000 ltr. and up to 12,000 ltr.
Wiedermann have developed their own vacuum pump (liquid ring pump) which is available in 4 versions from 2,000 m3 to 4,500 m3 per hour. The pump is cooled with water from the recycling system, which enables a weight saving of approx. 700 kg.
The recycling truck is delivered with a 6,2 mtr. suction hose boom, which rotates 180 degrees, an up to 1,2 mtr. telescopic boom with 30 mtr. DN100 suction hose reel mounted horizontally on the tank. Option: can be delivered with the Spectro 360 degree system, which can rotate the boom 360 degrees and tip it 25 degrees up and 10 degrees down.
Side mounted transport reel with up to 30 mtr. DN80 suction hose or 25 mtr. DN125 suction hose.
The special construction with the sludge tank in the middle surrounded by the U-shaped water tank ensures perfect weight distribution in all conditions. It is also for this reason that the suction hose reel is places on top of the tank and over the vehicle's center point.
Large DN32, 180 mtr. high pressure jetting system, fx URACA, and small high pressure jetting system DN13 can be mounted, both with hydraulic drives. Both systems can be mounted on the suction hose boom or on the rear door.
Also available is the patented camera nozzle system "Sputnik" from German minCam. The system ranges from DN100 - DN400 mainlines and in laterals even with severeal 90 degrees bends. The camera is high definition with LED lights. It is of course possible to record video, take pictures and store the files.
Wiedemann Super 2000 is delivered with 12" smart touch screen and control system to monitor all processes, with the option of performing online diagnosis of the system.
Tipping system for emptying the sludge tank, angle 45 degress with top mounted rear tank door with 2 hydraulic pistons. It is possible to pump the surface water back into the sewer before emptying.
Many further options are available upon request!
The water recycling system for the Super 2000 consists of 9 cleaning steps and the following main components:
- Self cleaning mesh
- Cyclone system
- Multiple sedimentation
Step 1 (coarse separator):
All large particles (stones, tins, etc.) are blocked by the separator and stay in the rear part of the sludge tank.
Step 2 (self cleaning water throughput):
During suction full-automatic and continuous separation of rough filtered waste water. The surface of the self-cleaning mesh is cleaned with a pressure of 5 bars. An additional possibility is to clean the filter via high pressure pump (20 bars), for example during discharge. The mesh is stainless steel (mesh size 0,6mm), installed in the sludge tank and fully-automatically height adjustable.
Step 3 (cyclone system 1):
The first centrifugal pump transports the pre-cleaned water from the sludge tank to the first separation of tiny grit. A double cyclone system separates physically tiny grit from the water by using centrifugal forces. The separated particles are brought back to the sludge tank. The cleaned water is either used for cleaning the mesh or flows into compartment 1 of the water tank.
Step 4-7 (sedimentation 1):
The separated water tank is arranged in a U-shape under the sludge tank. It is used as surge and for cleaning and storage of water. It consists of 5 compartments.
All 4 compartments are used for sedimentation and therefore physical cleaning of the water. Because of its special shape the sedimentation area of the water tank is very large, which results in an optimal sinking of solid matter and the physical principle of cleaning by sedimentation can be used in an optimal way. The total size of the sedimentation area is approx. 8 m² (depending on the size of the tank). The cleaned water is taken from the water surface (via overflow pipes) and supplied to the next compartment. That means that the system uses a quadruple separation per sedimentation.
It is used as a storage tank for the completely recycled water.
Steps 4-7 (cyclone system 2):
The second centrifugal pump brings the water out of compartmen 4 into the second cyclone system (double cyclones). By centrifugal forces remaining tiny particles are separated from the water. The separated particles are again brought back to the sludge tank. After a repeated (3 times) cleaning by the cyclones the recycled water flows into compartment 5 where it is stored to feed the high pressure pumpe.
Capacity of the recycling system:
The system recycles 1.200 ltr. of sewer water per minute. But only around 400 ltr. are required by most of the bigger high pressure pumps (for example URACA P3-45), so there is a triple guarantee that the high pressure pump does not run out of water.
Quality of recycled water:
Already in the year 1979 the quality of the recycled water was tested empirically by the city of Berlin, Germany. It has to be considered that the sewer cleaning vehicle carried out its normal work for 3 days without using any fresh water.
The test resulted in the following date:
Drying agent per liter: 0,275g
Solid matter per liter: 0,060g
Grain size: not measurable
As an effect of these very good results we guarantee that the wear and tear of high pressure pumps, hoses and nozzles are not higher in comparison with fresh water.
